Originally from Guadalajara, Jalisco, the de la Torre Brothers are sculptors who primarily work in glass.
They are graduates of the University of California at Long Beach
and Jamex also completed studies at the Pilchuk School of Glass in 1980.
The brothers have exhibited work internationaly, as well as being included in major museum and university collections
a few being: the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, the San Diego Museum of Contemporary Art and the Museum Kanazu in Japan.
Their work has a strong prehispanic theme, popularized and made contemporary by their hand.
They are true ambassadors of border culture.
