Alejandro Santiago
Originally from Teococuilco, Oaxaca, Santiago is a painter and sculptor.
His 2501 Migrants is a monumental project representing the reality of contemporary Mexico.
He presented at FORUM in 2007, held in Monterrey, Nuevo León.
In 2010 he opened the first contemporary sculpture space in Oaxaca called La Telaraña (The Cobweb).
His work with Studio Xaquixe
In 2009, Studio Xaquixe collaborated with Santiago
to realize a sculpture from blown glass
Manto de la Muerte exhibited at the Ethra gallery.
